Sheri Fleegle, Executive Director
Pleasants County has always been part of Sheri's life. As a child she lived in Newport, Ohio, but spent much of her time in activities in St. Marys. After beginning her career at the St. Marys Oracle, she has spent most of her professional life in the non-profit world. She served as the public information director for Washington State Community College during its transition from a technical college and move to its own campus. She also worked with the Boys & Girls Club of Pleasants County and later with the Hancock County Board of Developmental Disabilities in Findlay, Ohio.
She currently lives in Reno, Ohio, with her husband, Steve. They have two sons, both alumni of SMHS. Dan currently lives in Pittsburgh where he works at Attack Theatre. Joe lives in St. Marys with his wife Krista and their four children, Connor, Liam, Elise, and Jude.
As Director of the Pleasants Community Foundation, Sheri is available at our offices at 309 Second Street, St. Marys, WV to assist with any questions you may have about our scholarship, grants and funds. Our offices are open Monday - Friday from 8:00am - 12:00noon, or additional hours by request.
